May rated it really liked it Apr 13, All formats have the same content, exercises, and certification. That makes a huge sryle, since even beginners can quickly learn to avoid style errors. Your approach to adding the Method and Style on top of the BPMN specification makes a huge difference in making the diagrams consistent and meaningful. As most tool vendors are still in the early stages of silveer the final BPMN 2.
Its perfect for grabbing the attention of your viewers.

Books by Bruce Silver. It details the BPMN 2. It is clearer, more concise, better organized. In the original edition it implied not simply a limited working set of shapes and symbols but a more relaxed attitude toward the rules of BPMN, more akin to traditional flowcharting.
No trivia or quizzes yet. As I posted recentlythe second edition is completely rewritten and updated to DMN 1. Level 2 the Analytic subclass expands the palette to be able to describe event-triggered behavior, critical to modeling exception handling.
Thanks also to Carol Leyba of Leyba Associates for great work on the cover design. However, unless you’re writing a technical integration or tool implementation, nearly the entire second half of the book is unnecessary.

I would have appreciated a thorough glossary with definitions included in a concise location as to the symbolism used and their meanings but as far as the rest of the book goes, highly informative but a little spread out.
