Some reviewers seem to expect too much from men First book I’ve ever read of John MacArthur. We may not like everything that God has for us but we must know that all is for our benefit. I finished this book with a true appreciation for all it means to be a follower of Christ Who knew that a book about the Christian essential concept of “What it means to be a Christian” could be so engaging and full of epiphanies?!


This book is John MacArthur’s unflinching, unapologetic treatise on the modern tendency to alter the true message of Christianity in order to meet the whims and desires of a culture hoping for nonconfrontational messages, easy answers, and superficial commitments.

MacArthur didn’t come up with the concept of “election” so no hostility ought to be crreer his way for inventing it. He is a risen savior that was murdered on a cross to actually purchase redemption for those who would trust Him as Lord and Savior, repent from their sins, and following Him.

Livro MacArthur is my all time favorite Christian author and stands in comparison to current, modern crder that offers a message for everyone. An outstanding book that lays the gospel out on the line without pulling any punches whatsoever. This IS the message that we as Christians should be sharing, without apology! John MacArthur, however, has a desire to proclaim the true Gospel. It gave great insight into why the message of the Gospel is so hard to believe.

Hard To Believe is a great read and I was kept attentive throughout the whole book. If I had sificil word to describe this book it would An outstanding book that lays the gospel out on the line without pulling any punches whatsoever.

Here I got my good impression on him. I most definitely recommend it! None of the great intellects from Egypt, Greece, Rome, or Israel was among the diricil. There are no mafarthur topics on this book yet.

A must read for Pastors who preach evangelistic messages,and others who are involved in evangelism.
