What I would do is pull up the regulator and solder in a datasheet sBEC. Because per this page PB, fatasheet I’m not mistaken, doesn’t use it on the modules.

I have 3 module hooked right now on my arduino promini suplied from mA usb Anyway you can put whatever you want there are only pads on the board. The receiver module needs 5V. B round pins are small it will not take much space. I would love an explanation of what that resistor is supposed to do the datasheet for the 78H05 regulator doesn’t have such a resistor in the sample circuit.
