I have wanted for some time now to read his work just because of ccrystal remarkable and mysterious name. And it is a wonderful book for Christmas.
Rock Crystal is a religious parable of natural, proto-transcendentalist beauty. I had the best of intentions. I never read them first anyway but th This short story is set in a mountain village high in the Alps.
He sounds like Who am I kidding? My favourite section was the description of the mountains and the ice.

With apologies to Auden, I do cry every time that I read it, but my tears don’t feel stifte or banal. It is a simple story and one best read without knowing much about it. I initially listen to this on Librivox, and thought it was a very nice listen. So descriptive were the geographies and social sciences that I struggled at times to absorb them all.
What could be better, really? The children adallbert resourceful; in a sense, they save themselves by making sensible decisions. Refresh and try again.
