How can you rate something you haven’t read? Thanks guys to give me a different perspective which coellho me to step back and watch it and my current views from a certain distance. He has failed to recognize his Personal Legend. I got so bored with it all that I just snarkily mocked it.

The closer one gets to realizing his Personal Legend, the more that Personal Legend becomes his true reason for being, thought the boy. It should be a quick read unless you don’t care for it – and I have seen many less than satisfied reviews.

In fact, the Oasis was attacked by men; got shot, one hanged. Normally there is at least one redeeming quality to a book – however the alchemist has none. But fate playing a major role in this book isn’t what made me give it one star. I felt the same rush of emotions through me while reading. The woman interprets the dream as a prophecy telling the boy that he will discover a treasure at the Egyptian pyramids. I have always been in the habit of collecting good omens.

The writing style was really nice and unique – I could have continued reading forever. The Alchemist is the story of Santiago, a shepherd boy who dreams of traveling the world and discovering treasures, and is courageous enough to walk in the direction of his desires.

The last half was both well written and inspiring, with an ending that pulled the threads together very nicely. Ahead are some of the aspects I found pertinent to the interpretation of the present novel.

Then I washed my brain, eyes and fingers with bleach.

I was being proselytized to by a cookie! But I do have a foelho or two: You’re actually happy to say that based purely on the blurb? In plain terms, I liked it and the message of the book was verily intense. It was a medicine of universal, cosmic impact.


Last but not least comes the story timeline with some art illustrating how I saw the characters and events throughout my read. Dreams are the language of God. This was about realizing your destiny, or “personal legacy.


Is it not quite self-evident that they alchimisya not read any books in their young lives – they are sheep after all, and won’t read in their old age either, I assume?

What do they cost? I basically felt I was reading an overblown parable and that the same lessons were being spelled out again and again.
