Sep 05, What I loved the most about Academy 7 was the relationship between Aerin and Dane. We will not remove any content for bad language alone, or being critical of a particular book.
The plot is surprisingly insular, more about two students trying to find their place in the world than about big action or explosions or conflict which ostelund me just fine. Anne Osterlund Fans — 53 members — last activity Jan 18, I would’ve loved this as a full blown school story!

It takes pretty much until the very end of the book ostelund there to be any romance and then it’s not really romance so much as affection. The main characters, Dane and Aerin were complex intelligent characters, whose growth one accompanies throughout the book. Fortunately Aerin consistently outwits him at sparring. Don’t be fooled by the cover: They are at the top of their class until Dane jeopardizes everything and Aerin is unintentionally dragged down with him. There’s plenty to think about in regard osterlunnd governments and the governed, and some thought-provoking questions about just what schools teach us.

Thanks again for adding me to your friend list! Anne who has a blue notebook with over 20 full pages of to-read books on it–though SOME of the titles have now been crossed off! However, the tension is well-done, and the novel sustains a brisk pace, suspenseful and tight as Aerin and Dane come closer and closer to uncovering the truth.
