Briar is a very real and genuine person. She thought her senior year of high school was going perfectly, until the night her drink was spiked at a party by one of her so called friends.
In spite of the fact that he has almost no flaws, which supposedly should make him a boring character to read about, he is anything but dull. Chase has the whole hot cowboy persona going on and I just loved everything about him. Briar is a few months younger than Chase. There are examples of boys disrespecting girls and frank discussions of the jj.c.isabella for teens to be responsible about sex, and a few makeout scenes, but no overt descriptions of sexual acts. Her parents and friends bothered me. Who you will love while reading this book. Brair’s grandma was the best, she was so funny and she made up for Brair’s crappy parents. This is a light fun j.c.iszbella novel for young adults probably more geared to high school youths.

I swear there is something in their blood that makes them polite and loyal to the ones they love. I loved the ranch and Chase’s family. Most everything was realistic. Basically, Chase is a true gentleman in every sense of the word. I really liked Briar in this story.
