I found Almost Home to be a sad book overall, Echols has no concept of what it’s like to live as a free adult. The word “magick” is found on almost every page and there were other things that I found distracting at times.

I’m not a good book review writer or anything, but this book was amazing and it’s the true story of one of the West Memphis Three, three boys who were arrested for a murder they couldn’t have possibly committed, pretty much just because they wore edhols clothes and had long hair and listened to heavy metal.
