The only redeeming quality is the book’s hero. Bette’s personal life gets equally ludicrous treatment, as she enters into a “just for looks” and very public relationship with gay British heartthrob, as her friends and family, as well as the guy she really fancies, look terrified.
But the most ridiculous part of this book was the wortn that she went along with every little plan her new job had for her. I just don’t get how this girl, who lives in New York, works around people from the city, and lives around city people, can be such a pushover, with absolutely no will, or self respect.
