I gave this book two stars because eleven thru thirteen were so much better. I think I’m getting turned on. No one – I heard it was bad. This is a good one. Overall, I definitely recommend this book and obviously, the entire series. That you should read Stephanie Plum book after long gaps.
I will admit that I still get excited when Evanovich comes out with a new book in this series. Another problem I have wi I gave this book two stars because eleven thru thirteen were so much better.
Fearless Fourteen is just as much fun as Evanovich’s previous books, if not better! Morelli sends a lab technician to disable the camera, and when Stephanie talks to him, she recognizes his voice: Not really exceptionally strong in any one particular area, but when you combine it all together, fourtfen have a 4 or 5 hour ride you’ll enjoy. I heard that at least twice in this book.
But what the book lacked in plot, it made up for with actual progress in the love triangle, GASP. The police prepare a duplicate van and fake money, but the fourth partner contacts Stephanie and tells her that he’s aware of the deception, and unless she fearlesss the real money to him by noon the next day, he will cut off Loretta’s hand.
Oh and Steph and Morelli were taking shifts babysitting a spraypainting teenager. What I am going to do is say goodbye to one of my all time favorite series. Stephanie has managed to put herself on the hook to care for a teenager who may be Joe’s child from his wild youth. These books are funny! And, for a stalker, he is a really nice guy. I still enjoyed it of course, there were some fun moments as usual, but I thought it kind of drug on a bit. He’s in the book just enough to keep Ranger fans like me hanging on. Surprised, Loretta explains that she never slept with Morelli as a teenager, and that Mario’s father was a classmate who died in a freak accident the day after he got her pregnant.

One of them could get in a fix and Steph could help get them out of it. The dialogue that used to be naturally witty seems forced and contrived.
