Then after I finished the book that way, I went back and read the other parts. If only they were hot to read, I wouldn’t say anything, but when an orgy makes you want to skip it, that’s bad sex writing.

Other issues with the book: Well up to Lover Reborn and then for me things started to drag. But I am more than pleased with what we got. There were moments in this book that I cheered her on seriously, because she showed the potential I felt she always had.

I don’t care who you are mated to, or whether they have blond hair or black hair, blue or green eyes, male or female parts-as long as you are happy, that’s all I worry about. Don’t get me wrong, when they were together there was some smokin’ hot heat, but the catty fighting between them drove me crazy. It was nice seeing them making Qhuinn part of their family.

Other than that, Butch suddenly added ‘wicked’ to his vocabulary, V lost his ‘true’, Layla lost her Chosen speech completely at times, Assail got more Old Worldly by the chapter, rules around ahstrux nohtrum-ship changed, and Trez met Selena for the first time That would have been So going back to the duo that captures the hearts of any lover of this series – Qhuinn and Blay, their journey to their own happiness is a long and twisty road, we see a lot of up and downs as the couple go from best friends, to almost enemies to passionate no strings sex and finally to lovers at last.

Let’s just say it hit all the right buttons for me. I am disheartened and I am extremely disappointed.

Lover At Last

I find this a dagger of the “Because the Author says so. When this book starts, we already know Blay and Qhuinn are in love, only they don’t know it. In the end, I was mostly satisfied and if I could only rate Qhuinn and Blay I probably would have given the story five stars, but I was bogged down with all the tangents.

The Band of Brothers storyline is another one that is in flux. I like the hint of kink and the unique characterization of these two.

Saxton and Blay break up.

And I need something to suck on. I’m not even talking about what the Brothers think of a gay couple. Only Ward can strike a balance and keep it entertaining.

They are still selling drugs to support their vampire hunting ways. A pizza that’s Qhuay, Xcor, Trez and A-fucking-sail. For their portion of the book which simply wasn’t enough! Keep Magic Shadow zipped up buddy. Lover at Last, especially for the mainstream publishing world and reading public is a book we needed at last. It helped me hlack his behaviour better. I’m not letting her ruin my OTP.
