Had 3 lbs of lamb after I deboned the shoulder, so I doubled the recipe. Jan 24, Laurel rated it it was amazing. It’s now been completely redesigned and sports all new coluor photography, bringing it solidly into the 21st century with its updated new look.
Have only tried a few of the recipes, but they have all come out delicious and they are easier fewer ingredients and time compared to Jaffrey’s other cookbook “Madhur Jaffrey Indian Cooking,” which Cookinb also love. I have chosen 5 recipes to help me on the adventure to learning a bit about Indian cuisine.
Most of the recipes are simple as Indian cooking goes and can be prepared in a reasonable amount of time, though I’m not sure I’d say 30 minutes, as she claims. Again, I find that Ms. Based on the ingredient list, I expected a more flavorful sauce which was actually a broth. I thought I didn’t have the recipe myself when I read the reviews, but it turned out I did.
